Description of Peter's catamaran The classic Sailcraft Iroquois is the easiest Cat to sail, even single-handed. Sturdy English construction combined with a great sail plan makes this Cat fast and nimble. It has a 9.9 Yamaha and a 6hp Tohatsu for no wind conditions and docking. Fresh water head, single burner alcohol stove, built in ice cooler, Bimini over the cockpit, GPS, safety gear included. The center saloon can seat six but duck your head, low ceiling, the berths, head and galley have plenty of headroom. Greens Creek Marina is located on the south shore of Long Island. This Cat is a perfect fit for these shallow waters since it only draws 14 inches. (center boards up) It has a dinghy but its easily beached for those late night cookouts right on the beaches of Fire Island. Cruise over to Ocean Beach for the full Fire Island family experience or head out to Davis Park for total privacy. Experienced sailors can even head out to Block Island for the ultimate experience. If you have ever wanted to experience a Cat but the rates of the large size was too much, this is the boat for you. There is a Gold (unlimited) Boat US Policy just in case its ever needed.
