Description of Mark's catamaran Southern Man is a Lagoon 410 S2 Catamaran. He is a Cruising Catamaran equiped with everything you’ll need for a awesome adventure. He has 4 double cabins, each with it’s own ensuite, wardrobe, storage area and footlocker. Each double cabin has 4 pillows, 2 sheets, 2 blankets, 4 towels, 1 hand towel, 1 bath towel. The galley is well equiped with all the latest mod cons, including Nespresso, Microwave Oven, Gas Oven & Griller, Toaster, SodaStream and enough Cooking Pots, Pans & Utensils to prepare a feast for the hungry crew. Not to mention plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses and wine glasses. Southern Man also has a champagne stopper, nip pourer and bottle opener. There is a BBQ on the back deck to fry up the freshly cooked fish. All safety equipment is supplied including Lifejackets, Wet Weather Jackets and EPIRB. Southern Man has 8 Comfort Chairs, with variable back position, that can be placed anywhere on the boat. Great out on the front deck for a few sundowners. A tender (dinghy) rests in the rear davits. It is powered by a 6HP 4 stroke Yamaha. Safety gear also resides in the tender. The helm boast an Auto Pilot and Touch Screen Chartplotter to help you get to you destination safely. Southern Man was purchased in France in 2015 and sailed back to Australia via the Caribbean and South Pacific, the best 16 months of my life. He now calls the Whitsundays, Qld, Australia home, where there are 74 island to explore. These cruising grounds have to be the best in the world with its fishing, diving, snorkelling, sailing, etc etc. Before and after the charter you can hang out in Airlie Beach which is my favourite place in Australia. Heaps of bars and restaurants with a great backpackers vibe. It's a Win Win, on land and at sea. Southern Man can be hire with a skipper, this is not included in the price, contact Mark for details.
